We are looking for an Intermediate Underwriter who excels in analyzing complex risks and developing client-focused solutions. With a strong foundation in property and casualty insurance, you will evaluate new and renewal policies, while mentoring junior team members. Your role will also involve collaborating with multiple teams to enhance client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and underwrite commercial property and casualty risks
• Cultivate broker partnerships for recent business growth
• Manage a profitable portfolio in adherence to guidelines
• Implement strategies to address risk trends and performance
• Collaborate with Risk Engineering for positive client outcomes
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of commercial underwriting experience
• Active pursuit of CIP designation
• In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles
• Familiar with Claims and Risk Management disciplines
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills
