The successful candidate will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care. The nurse will provide excellent care with respect and professionalism.Qualifications:Graduated from an accredited Registered Practical Nurse program/Nursing Degree or equivalentExperience with Ventilators and Tracheostomy an asset - training is available for the right candidateCurrent registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)Minimum of 1-year experience (preferred)Knowledge of current nursing assessment and management of Tracheostomy & Ventilation Care.Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your teamAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing environmentMonitor, assess, address, document & report changes in patient’s condition.Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, teamwork, and conflict-resolution)Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsValid First Aid and CPR - Level HCP certificationMust have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicleIf you believe you would be an asset to our energetic and growing team, we look forward to hearing from you.** We thank all applicants: however, only those selected will be contacted*This employer uses automated technology to assist with screening and assessing job applications.
