Domtar seeks a dedicated Third Class Power Engineer for its Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, mill. This full-time role focuses on the safe operation of diverse plant systems in a supportive team workplace.
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will operate critical equipment, including boilers and sludge treatment systems. Regular duties include monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will play an essential role in maintaining our high standards of quality in the pulp and paper industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain black liquor recovery and package boilers
• Perform testing and rounds on various plant equipment
• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks




• Monitor equipment and measure temperatures and pressures
• Ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance
Requirements:
• Preferred Interprovincial Third Class Power Engineer Certificate
• Relevant industrial experience considered beneficial
• Organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High urgency for operational efficiency
