Barminco Canada is seeking Underground Electricians to join their team at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. What You’ll Need

- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency
- Valid Driver’s License; manual transmission experience required
- General computer skills
- Ability to provide your own basic hand tools (most tools provided)




- Ability to do shift camp work on a rotational basis (12-hour days, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off)
- Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 poundsManual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
- Ability to work in extreme weather and moderate to high noise environments
- Successful completion of a pre-employment Fit for Duty medical including alcohol and drug screening

What Will Make You Stand Out

- 3-5 years of experience working underground as an Underground Electrician
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification or 4th year apprentice
- Sandvik development drill maintenance experience
- Thorough knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations, and BC Electrical Code
- Understanding of PLC control systems
- Experience with high voltage power distribution systems (13.8Kv, 600V motor control centers, variable frequency drives)
