Become a vital part of the Heartland Constructors team as a B-Pressure Hand Welder Journeyperson at Suncor Fort Hills, Alberta. This role offers a stable, permanent position on a 7/7 day shift schedule with camp accommodations.
Jardeg is seeking skilled welders to uphold the highest maintenance standards in production settings. You will be tasked with optimal metal fusions, developing accurate layout patterns, and ensuring compliance with welding safety codes. Your role will also require you to identify and rectify any welding defects, impacting the overall quality of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute expert metal fusions using various welding techniques
• Interpret and draw layouts from technical documents
• Maintain understanding of welding gases,
electrodes, and safety standards
• Assess and repair defective welds in alignment with codes
• Fulfill production requirements per industry standards
Requirements:
• Welder Journeyperson certification or Red Seal
• Valid Alberta B-Pressure ticket
• Completion of mandatory safety training
• WHMIS 2015, crane operation, and rigging skills
• Clean Class 5 Driver License with acceptable abstract
