AGT Food and Ingredients Inc. is looking for a worker to join our team at our Eston, SK location. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all basic housekeeping and re-processing functions throughout the facility as needed.
- Responsible for implementing the Housekeeping / Sanitation program daily around the facility/grounds.
- Follow all policies as developed in the Food Safety Program.
- Complete basic warehouse duties.
- Load containers and railcars of bagged/bulk product for export.
- Operate automated bagging and processing equipment in shipping areas.
- Monitor all checkpoints where quality can be compromised within the warehouse area.
Skills
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable with the willingness to learn.
- Able to communicate well with management and coworkers.
- Work well as a part of a team or independently.
- Capable of lifting weights up to 55lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
- Positive organizational skills.
- Experience in repetitive manual labour is an asset but is not a requirement.
- Valid Class 5 license is an asset but not a requirement.
- Background in agriculture and general knowledge of equipment an asset but not a requirement.
- Computer literacy and technology skills are an asset but not a requirement.
