The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for managing costing systems within the company. In this permanent full-time position, you will need a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of finance or accounting experience. Strong proficiency in GAAP and ASPE, along with skills in MRP and ERP systems, are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee proper allocation of material, labor, and overhead costs
• Prepare Cost per Unit (CPU) reports for manufacturing support
• Analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports
• Conduct quarterly global cost updates for stock codes
• Manage costing-related system integration projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field
• CPA or CMA certification (or in progress)
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• Solid MS Excel and database manipulation skills
• Knowledge of bills of material and operations
