About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters, including but not limited to, drafting and negotiating various contracts, providing legal advice on corporate finance, commercial real estate, and M&A; transactions, and leading negotiations with third parties. The role also involves managing litigation strategy, developing and maintaining corporate policies and compliance frameworks, and serving as a key resource for complex legal issues across different jurisdictions. In addition to the core legal responsibilities, the Senior Legal Counsel will have the prospect to directly contribute to business development and the company's growth.





Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should have a law degree and be admitted to the bar in Canada or the United States. A minimum of 7-10 years' of corporate and commercial legal experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have a background in commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal advice.
