Position Overview
Financial Consultant – Loan Solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Support customers and prospective customers on the phone and in person to provide best‑in‑class service.
- Ensure loan applications are assessed accurately and timely in a fast‑paced environment.
- Follow credit policy rules and risk parameters consistently.
- Gather loan information and sell loan and protection products.
- Close loans both virtually and in person.
- Follow up on past‑due customer accounts.
- Handle cash controls including taking payments.
- Commit to personal training and development to support our mission of delivering the best borrowing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in Finance or Business Administration is an asset.
- Great communication skills.
- Positive, supportive attitude and ability to maintain a gratifying work atmosphere.
Preferred Experience
- At least one year of prior experience in loan underwriting or working with a financial institution.
- Experience with loan origination software.
