As a key member of the Internal Medicine team, you will leverage your expertise to serve a 45,000-population referral base. The position includes access to cardiac stress testing and advanced monitoring capabilities on-site. Interest in teaching medical learners and clinical supervision is desirable, alongside the potential to work with the Alberni Internal Medicine clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide full-spectrum General Internal Medicine
• Oversee intensive and coronary care for patients




• Utilize diagnostic tools including Holter and blood pressure monitoring
• Teach and supervise medical learners when eligible
• Engage with outpatient practice in Alberni Internal Medicine
Requirements:
• Eligible for faculty appointment with UBC
• Competence in handling intensive care scenarios
• Active medical license in British Columbia
• Commitment to quality patient care and ongoing education
• Interest in community engagement and outdoor activities
