The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is looking for an Assistant Teacher for the School Age Float role. This part time position requires childcare experience and a passion for fostering a nurturing environment for kids. You'll be responsible for providing personal care, ensuring child safety, and implementing educational play-based activities across various locations in Innisfil.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and first aid to children
• Monitor safety of up to 15 children during activities
• Plan and implement play-based learning activities
• Communicate positively with families and staff
• Adapt to changing schedules and locations
Requirements:
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle access
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift 20 kg and work outdoors
