Extendicare is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join its compassionate team. Your primary role will involve assessing residents' nutritional needs, developing care plans, and offering dietary counseling. You will also participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to collaborate and enhance residents' overall health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess nutrition status at admissions and annually
• Develop and evaluate individualized nutrition plans
• Provide dietary education to residents and families




• Monitor high-risk residents and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with care teams to improve nutrition services
Requirements:
• Degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited university
• 1-2 years experience in gerontology or related fields
• Current registration in applicable Dietetic College
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and nutrition software
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
