Power the Shambhala Music Festival from behind the scenes by joining our Tech Support team! This full-time, temporary position runs from July 20-27 at the festival site near Salmo, BC, ensuring technology operates flawlessly.
As a key member of the Tech Department, you'll provide crucial support to festival staff facing technical challenges. Be proactive in troubleshooting, documenting issues, and assisting in the maintenance of hardware. Collaborate closely with the Tech Supervisor and the team for optimal festival operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Standby for technical assistance and calls
• Troubleshoot issues and keep detailed documentation
• Provide varied support alongside the Tech Manager
• Ensure accurate time reporting; sign in/out
• Attend daily tailgate meetings prior to shifts
Requirements:
• Robust software knowledge across platforms
• Hands-on experience with computer hardware
• Festival background is an asset
• Customer Service experience preferred
• Certification or substantial tech experience
