About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting in Private Assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that delivers fund accounting services for complex private equity structures. This role involves overseeing NAV calculations, financial reporting, and investor allocations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards, and managing client relationships. The Vice President will also be expected to drive strategic initiatives to support business growth, collaborate with internal teams on onboarding, reporting, and process improvements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Applicants for the Vice President, Fund Accounting - Private Assets position at the company should have a degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with a professional designation such as CPA, CFA, or CA preferred. A minimum of 8 years' experience in public or private equity fund accounting is required, along with proven leadership experience in a VP or equivalent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of private equity structures, waterfall calculations, and US GAAP, and experience with FIS Investran is a robust asset. The role demands excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of 15-20+.
