Position: Installer, awnings and shades (NOC 73200). Location: 222 Hwy 23 N, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0. Employer: Shade Sails Canada Inc. Salary: $31.00 per hour (30-40 hrs/week). Job Details

- Work location: On site (no remote work).
- Hours: 30-40 per week, early morning, shift, flexible hours, morning, day, weekend.
- Salary: $31.00 hourly.
- Terms: Permanent, full time.
- Starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

- Install and assemble shade sail structures, including posts, cables, and fabric systems.
- Measure, mark, and prepare installation sites according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation instructions.
- Secure and anchor structural components using hand and power tools.
- Inspect and verify alignment, tension, and structural integrity of installations.
- Perform adjustments and repairs to ensure proper fit and function.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Provide on‑site guidance and basic training to installation helpers or subcontractors.




- Communicate with project managers and team members regarding progress and issues.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

Qualifications

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
- Languages: English.
- Valid driver’s licence.

Physical Requirements

- Fast‑paced environment.
- Physically demanding work; ability to handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Work at outdoors and at heights.
- Repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
