About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its charitable non-profit organization, which has a long-standing and significant presence in the community as a provider of long-term care and assisted living for older adults. The successful candidate will be a compassionate and community-minded leader with a solid operational background. As the chief executive officer, the Executive Director will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the organization, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, standards, and the organization's values. This role requires a hands-on leader who is adept at modernizing systems, stewarding finances, and guiding the organization through periods of change and renewal.





The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have progressive senior-level administrative management experience in a healthcare environment, particularly in seniors' care and assisted living, or a related field. The role demands a leader with a proven ability to lead complex operations, modernize processes, and foster a culture of compassion, dignity, and excellence in care. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, financial stewardship, people leadership, governance support, stakeholder and government relations, community engagement, and fund development. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors and must be prepared to play a visible leadership role with residents, staff, and the broader community.
