About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership and advance the retirement living sector in Ontario. The CEO will be responsible for the full executive authority of the organization, including strategy, programs, operations, and financial sustainability. This role is pivotal in shaping public policy, cultivating senior-level government and regulatory relationships, and positioning the company as the trusted voice of the sector. The ideal candidate will be a agile and influential leader with a proven track record in government relations, public policy, and stakeholder engagement. They must be a strategic thinker, skilled in building relationships, and adept at operating at the intersection of policy, advocacy,

The successful CEO will be a persuasive advocate, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and will play a central role in advancing progressive policy solutions that meet the needs of the aging population. Key responsibilities include proactive advocacy, collaboration with government and regulators, and ensuring the sector is well-prepared to meet the evolving needs of the community. The role demands a leader who can balance the needs of the members with broader system priorities, and who is committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and must be prepared for a highly visible, outward-facing position that requires the presence, judgment, and credibility to influence and lead effectively.
