As a member of the Faculty of Agricultural & Food Sciences, you will support the PLNT 1000 A01 course starting September 9, 2026. This part time position requires between 0 to 10 hours weekly, offering a total of 40 hours for the term. Primary tasks include maintaining instructional materials and conducting student consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend planning meetings and course sessions
• Prepare handouts, assignments, and tests
• Mark student work including major projects
• Hold regular consultation hours for student support
• Participate in course-related activities like field trips
Requirements:
• Relevant academic qualifications completed
• Empathetic approach to student instruction
• Effective communication skills in English
• Previous experience in relevant courses preferred
• Must possess a valid study permit for international students
