As a key team member in our dynamic environment, you will support ophthalmologists and ensure patients feel comfortable before and after procedures. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will allow you to excel in this role, which offers a permanent full-time position approximately 35 hours per week with great advantages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist ophthalmologists during surgical procedures
• Provide reassurance to patients pre- and post-operation
• Coordinate and collaborate effectively with the surgical team
• Master tools and technologies used in interventions
• Maintain precision and accuracy in all tasks
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in ophthalmology or optometry is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust
• Flexible schedule availability Monday through Friday
• Willingness to travel for training in the GTA
