Grasslands Public Schools is located in the southeastern part of Alberta and serves a population of about 3,577 students in Brooks, Alcoma, Bassano, Duchess, Gem, Rolling Hills, Rosemary, and Tilley.

- Previous experience in Division Two (Grades 4-6) classrooms.
- Understanding and appreciation of Grasslands Public Schools mission and values.
- Able to create a classroom environment that supports diversity and inclusion.
- Respect and value all individuals with sensitivity to diversity.
- Personal integrity and trustworthiness.
- Understanding of how educators impact the community.
- Strong instruction and classroom management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to quickly build trust,rapport and strong relationships with students, colleagues and our community.

Education and Certifications

- Bachelor of Education
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certification

Successful applicants will be

- Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Original document reported within the last 6 months of hire date; condition of employment
