- Process payments from brokers and policyholders.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries.
- Monitor policyholder and broker past due accounts.
- Prepare and process monthly broker statements and corresponding commission payments.
- Review, organize and code general expenses.
- Prepare digital payments to vendors, brokers and other payees.
- Assist with formatting month end reports and reconciliation to the general ledger.
- Maintain petty cash fund and process incoming funds.
- Create manual journal entries based on pre-established criteria or direction from more senior staff.
- Train and provide guidance to clerical staff.
- Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications
- Education: One-year business accountancy diploma from an approved institution or completion of 60 credits toward a B.Comm. degree in accounting.
- Experience: One year in the insurance industry or in accounting.
