Pacekids Programs is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Classroom Therapy Aide to engage with young children in a supportive environment. This casual, on-call position involves working closely with a Certified Teacher and therapists to implement Individual Program Plans focusing on children’s social and academic skills. Ideal candidates should possess robust communication skills and a passion for fostering an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in executing daily lesson plans and activities
• Implement individualized strategies per children's IPPs
• Support children's socialization and learning activities
• Help document progress and assist with self-help skills
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom according to standards
Requirements:
• Certificate in Early Childhood Education or relevant field
• Previous experience with young children, particularly with special needs
• Strong teamwork abilities and communication skills
• Commitment to obtaining First Aid & CPR certification
• Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector necessary
