Arya Health

Vancouver

Role Overview: Arya Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Manager to drive the day-to-day execution and strategic direction of our EMR and clinic management platform. This individual will own the product board, translate clinic and customer needs into shippable features, and work closely with the Head of Development/Co-Founder and engineering team to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. This role will also help guide major platform initiatives supporting large-scale clinic migrations and onboarding.

This is a fast-moving role : priorities shift quickly around active clinic go-lives, and the right person will be comfortable re-prioritizing on short notice, making calls with incomplete information, and keeping multiple fast-changing workstreams moving at once without losing track of details. The expectation is this individual is resilient to high work loads.

Location: Based in the BC Lower Mainland (Metro Vancouver area). In office 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap

- Own and prioritize the product roadmap based on clinic feedback, migration learnings, and business goals.
- Translate needs surfaced during clinic onboarding and go-live (e.g., billing setup, referral/investigation workflows, EMR data migration) into clear product requirements.
- Balance new feature development with platform stability and support for in-flight customer migrations.

Project Oversight and Reporting

- Ensure all tasks on the product board are progressing according to timelines.
- Identify bottlenecks (e.g., integration issues with billing or data extract partners) and drive resolutions to maintain momentum.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Development on task progress, sprint completion, and unresolved issues.

Ticket Management

- Oversee ticket creation, tracking, and timely updates within Jira.
- Ensure hotfix tickets — including issues surfaced during active clinic go-lives — are resolved within a 24-hour turnaround.
- Monitor and prioritize tasks to align with company and customer-success goals.

UX Design and QA

- Lead the design and implementation of user experiences for clinical and administrative workflows, aligning with product vision and clinic usability needs.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders (including Customer Success and Implementation teams)

to gather requirements and create wireframes or prototypes.
- Oversee the quality assurance process, including creating test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring issue resolution ahead of clinic go-live dates.

Release Management

- Coordinate and run all software releases with engineering to ensure successful deployment.
- Manage release schedules and post-release issue tracking, with particular attention to releases affecting active migrations.

Collaboration and Troubleshooting

- Act as the primary liaison for developers, ensuring all requirements — including integration points such as billing, data extracts, and third-party EMR imports — are understood and implemented correctly.
- Engage directly and credibly with the dev team on technical issues — able to understand root-cause explanations, logs, and integration/API errors well enough to make informed prioritization calls without always relying on a translated summary.
- Partner closely with Implementation and Customer Success teams to resolve platform issues surfaced during onboarding and go-live.

Stakeholder Communication

- Act as a bridge between clinic-facing teams, business stakeholders, and the development team to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Communicate roadmap changes and platform updates clearly to internal teams and, where appropriate, to clinic partners.

Process Improvements

- Propose and implement process enhancements to improve sprint efficiency and task tracking.
- Facilitate agile best practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.

Ticket Creation

- Responsible for creating and managing all current builds, including their design and collaboration with developers.
- Responsible for creating and managing feature request tickets in partnership with the Customer Support Lead.

Customer Support Collaboration

- Support the support team with complex technical customer issues as needed.

- Monitor Intercom or other support channels for recurring product issues that should inform the roadmap.

Deadline Enforcement

- Maintain a strict focus on deadlines, particularly around clinic go-live dates, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- Hold engineering and cross-functional partners accountable for meeting timelines and delivering quality results.

Qualifications

- Beneficial to have experience with healthcare software, EMR/EHR systems, or another regulated SaaS environment.
- Technical background sufficient to understand and troubleshoot issues raised by the development team (e.g., reading logs, understanding API/integration errors, following database or system-level explanations) without needing everything translated into non-technical terms.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and sprint tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Familiarity with clinic operations workflows (billing, scheduling, referrals) a strong asset.
- Expertise in QA processes and release management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Implementation, Customer Success, and Development.
- Demonstrated ability to work at speed — comfortable shifting priorities quickly, making fast decisions with limited information, and staying effective when several things are moving at once (e.g., during clinic go-live weeks). This is NOT a low stress position.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset suited to a fast-moving environment with active customer migrations.
- Management or team-leadership experience preferred.

Employment Type

Full-time. Based in the BC Lower Mainland.

Daily Responsibilities Snapshot

- Review and update the product board, ensuring tasks are prioritized and progressing.
- Provide a daily/regular report to the Head of Development summarizing task statuses, sprint progress, and blockers.
- Monitor ticket status and enforce hotfix turnaround times.
- Manage release schedules and oversee deployment processes.
- Conduct daily stand-ups with developers to track progress and address issues.
- Coordinate with Implementation and Customer Success on issues surfaced during clinic onboarding and go-live.

Don't have a ton of PM experience? No problem — if you've got grit and a willingness to learn, we still want you to apply.
