Basic Job Description

- Take guests orders on POS register
- Accept payment (cash, debit, credit)
- Handle guest requests
- Prepare, heat, and finish food/beverage items
- Use manual appliances to slice food items
- Portion and wrap foods
- Package take‑out food
- Stock refrigerators and sandwich bars
- Keep records of the quantities of food used/prepped
- Cross‑train between storefront, drive‑thru, sandwich bar, and baking

Kitchen Helping

- Wash and cut vegetables, clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, storage racks, equipment
- Receive,



unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage, handle cleaning products, sweep and mop floors

Dishwashing

- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Scour pots and pans, clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher carts and garbage units

Weight Handling

Up to 50 lbs.

Essential Skills

- Reading text and numbers
- Dealing with Canadian currency
- Writing, verbal communication, teamwork
- Problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing
- Use of memory

Languages

Must speak/read/write English.
