This part-time, freelance role involves teaching one-to-one sessions that cover essential language skills. Ideal candidates are native German speakers or qualified teachers who can commit to 16 hours of lessons, held at students' homes in Vaughan. Working on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays allows for adaptable scheduling tailored to students' availability and eagerness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized, one-to-one German instruction
• Adapt lessons to meet beginners’ language learning needs
• Schedule and conduct classes on flexible days
• Assess and review student performance regularly
• Assist students aiming to relocate to Germany
Requirements:
• Native German speaker or valid teaching certification
• Previous teaching, translation, or interpreting experience
• Valid work permit/visa for working in Canada
• Reside within 30 km of Vaughan
• Willingness to adjust schedule as needed
