Job Description
We are seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst / Product Owner with 5-7 years of experience in business analysis and product ownership. The ideal candidate will have transit agency and public sector experience , with strong knowledge of bus operations (dispatch, scheduling, fleet management, maintenance, and real-time transit systems). The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, managing the product backlog, translating requirements into user stories, collaborating with Agile teams, conducting UAT, and ensuring successful product delivery.
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of Business Analysis/Product Ownership experience
- Experience working with a Transit Agency (mandatory)
- Public Sector project experience
- Knowledge of Bus Operations and Transit Systems
- Robust requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation skills
- Agile/Scrum experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Nice to Have
- CBAP or CSPO certification
- Data analysis and reporting experience
- UX/UI knowledge
- Accessibility (AODA/WCAG) knowledge
