Pay Band Addictions Counsellor - Degree

Location: North Battleford

Employment Type: Full time (Permanent)

Pay Band: $34,509 to $42,199 per annum

Preferred for HSAS members in accordance with the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Responsibilities

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, under the general direction of the Manager of Addiction Services, responsible for day‑to‑day client service delivery (development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation) of Addiction Services, including clinical case management, community education, and community development.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor of Chemical Dependency or equivalent Bachelor degree.
- Licenses: Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.

- Assessment skills – Advanced
- Problem solving skills – Basic

Knowledge and Abilities

- Knowledge in addictions screening, assessment tools and procedures.
- Knowledge in substance abuse and addictions, including cause and effect.

Other Requirements

Travel required as deemed necessary by the employer.
