Position Overview

We are currently recruiting a Parts Warehouseperson to join our team in Surrey, BC. Reporting to the Parts Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, this position is responsible for a variety of warehousing duties, including shipping and receiving of Caterpillar parts and components, general warehouse maintenance, housekeeping duties, and assisting with inventory control.

Job Description

- Picking customer and branch parts orders
- Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
- Sorting and binning incoming stock
- Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
- Hose building may be required
- Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy
- Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning housekeeping standards and to ensure a protected work environment
- Perform daily inspections of tooling and small equipment as well as replenish warehouse supplies as needed
- Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock
- Accurately identify and clean equipment parts and attachments prior to stocking
- Perform minor assembly and refurbishment as required

Qualifications

- High school diploma (Grade 12)




- Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an asset
- Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHMIS and TDG
- A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Information

- This position is based in Surrey, BC on a 5x2 shift (Monday‑Friday)
- Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Any future shift changes will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
