In this position, you will work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, supporting residents with their physical and emotional needs. You are empowered to organize daily activities, oversee meal preparation, and ensure medication administration. Your adaptability will be vital as the needs of residents change throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents with physical disabilities
• Organize group activities alongside other staff
• Prepare meals as per individual care plans
• Continuously assess the needs of residents
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 required
• Personal Care Worker qualification is preferred
• First Aid, CPR, and Safe Food Handling certification required
• Prior experience in home care or childcare preferred
• Valid Driver’s License is an asset
