Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will serve as a Travel Assistant in the Comptroller Department of Fleet Readiness Center East.
Performs as the travel voucher reviewer, monitors payments and local travel in accordance with regulations.
Provides guidance and training to travelers on preparation of official travel documents to include official travel reservations (e.g., transportation and lodging), estimated travel expenses and costs, trip authorizations, scheduling partial payments.
Prepares and works various voucher reports.
Reports travel issues such as suspected fraud, waste and abuse to the appropriate authority.
