Join the field of trauma counseling as an Indigenous Health Trauma Clinical Counsellor.

Support First

Nations, Métis, and Inuit clients by navigating substance use services through focused care coordination. Serving on the Intensive Case Management Team, you will play a critical role in reducing care barriers for Indigenous clients.

Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering therapy, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You will deliver care through a culturally protected and trauma-informed lens, promoting dignity and client self-determination. Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough client assessments and screenings
Facilitate access to community resources and services
Offer therapeutic interventions and support




Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
Maintain comprehensive client documentation Requirements:
Relevant Master’s Degree in health or social sciences
Minimum of two years in mental health or addictions services
Understanding of Indigenous cultural practices
Eligible for relevant professional registration
Robust team-oriented and communication skills Empower Indigenous individuals towards recovery and self-determination through comprehensive care and innovative approaches.
