Account Executive - Hunter/Consultative Sales (Remote) About the Role Blacksmith is seeking a consultative Account Executive to drive growth across both project-based engagements and ongoing marketing services. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients across industries, partnering closely with SDRs, strategists, and leadership to win high-value business and expand existing accounts. This role suits a confident communicator who excels in virtual selling, deep discovery, and managing complex, multi-step sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities - Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close.
Generate new business while growing existing client relationships.
Lead consultative discovery, solution development, and stakeholder alignment.
Manage complex deals with multiple decision‑makers.
Partner with SDRs to convert warm leads into opportunities.
Deliver compelling virtual presentations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts and support legal/procurement processes.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure robust client outcomes.



What We’re Looking For - 5+ years of experience in a quota‑carrying Account Executive role.
Proven track record selling high‑value solutions through consultative sales.
Ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder buying processes.
Experience managing longer, structured deal cycles (track record of 3 - 12 months sales cycles) - Strong executive presence and communication skills.
Comfortable selling in a primarily remote environment.
Familiarity with modern sales tools and CRM platforms. Nice to Have - Experience in agency or marketing technology environments.
Background working in fast‑growing or startup companies.
Exposure to a variety of industries.
