At Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government, we seek an experienced Early Childhood Educator dedicated to providing quality, culturally appropriate childcare in a secure setting. Engage with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to foster their growth.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work with the Childcare Manager to deliver a rich curriculum that reflects Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ culture. You will play a pivotal role in encouraging children to explore and learn while maintaining a secure, healthy environment. Building trust with children and parents while adhering to confidentiality is a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and adapt daycare programs with the Daycare Supervisor
• Lead engaging, culturally-aligned learning experiences




• Prepare and manage educational spaces and resources
• Encourage positive self-concepts and behavioral guidance
• Follow health and safety regulations to protect children's well-being
Requirements:
• Certificate in Early Childhood Education with a valid license
• 2-3 years of direct ECE experience preferred
• First Aid and Food Safe certifications
• Criminal record check for vulnerable sector
• BC Class 5 Driver’s License
