The Metallurgical Technician will report to the Metallurgist and provide crucial technical direction for metallurgical activities. This role involves a range of responsibilities including daily reporting, sample preparation, and overseeing laboratory tests. You will also conduct analyses and implement best practices to enhance mineral processing and gold recovery efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all metallurgy and operations testing
• Prepare and review lab procedures for use
• Conduct sampling for inventory per schedule
• Monitor and inspect process samplers
• Validate equipment measurements and perform maintenance
Requirements:
• College diploma in metallurgy or material science
• 2-5 years of process plant experience
• Minimum 2 years in metallurgy within mineral processing
• Experience in gold processing and metallurgical testing
• Solid knowledge of OHS requirements
