Become a School Psychologist with Frontier School Division in Area 1 (Thompson) and support students from Nursery to Grade 12. Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver effective psychological services.
This permanent position reports to the Area Superintendent and focuses on providing comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions. Working closely with parents, school staff, and external clinicians, you'll develop strategies to support students' learning and emotional well-being. Your expertise in child development and exceptional needs will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students' challenges
• Develop support plans in collaboration with school teams




• Participate in School Support Team meetings for guidance
• Prepare reports according to Division deadlines
• Liaise with outside agencies for coordinated interventions
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in School Psychology
• Valid Manitoba School Psychologist Certificate or eligibility
• Robust clinical skills and knowledge of mental health issues
• Experience with diverse student needs
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s license
