At Stantec, we seek a Structural Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team. This role involves performing structural design and analysis for mining and industrial infrastructure, requiring a strong understanding of applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities:



• Perform structural design and analysis of heavy mining structures • Develop designs using sketches and analysis software • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution • Provide mentorship to Engineers-in-Training and designers • Conduct quality assurance and project specification preparation

Requirements: • Registered P. Eng. in Ontario, Alberta, or similar • 12-15 years in structural engineering, industrial focus • Experience with structural analysis software like STAAD.Pro • Knowledge of US codes and mining projects is an asset • Robust communication and time management skills
