Law Society of BC is hiring a Discipline Counsel for a 6-month term, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role focuses on citation prosecution and regulatory guidance. As a full time Discipline Counsel, you will be pivotal in prosecuting citations at hearings and advising on discipline matters within the organization.

You'll represent the Law Society before various legal bodies and work closely with Skilled Conduct lawyers to ensure compliance and uphold the rule of law. Your background in litigation will be essential in navigating through complex cases. Key Responsibilities:
Effectively prosecute citations for the Discipline Committee
Represent the Law Society in disciplinary reviews
Offer legal advice concerning investigations




Negotiate and draft proposals for Consent Agreements
Represent in court for investigation and discipline matters Requirements:
Membership or eligibility in the Law Society of B.C.
Five years of litigation experience required
Superior writing and communication abilities
Skill in managing deadlines in high-pressure situations
