Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic TEMP HYGIENIST to join our dynamic dental team! Duties
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist with patient examinations by taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and recording medical histories accurately
Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized hygiene area following all infection control protocols
Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans for patients
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently to maximize clinic productivity




Support the dental assisting team as needed during procedures or administrative tasks

Skills
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and record keeping
Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and terminology is a plus
Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations are highly desirable
Previous experience in dental assisting or hygiene roles within a busy dental office setting
Solid customer service skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and valued
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to assist with young patients’ needs
Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental health and treatment planning
