In this position, you will manage the intake process for complaints against lawyers and evaluate situations involving disciplinary issues. Utilize your extensive legal background to facilitate resolutions and recommendations. Key Responsibilities:
Address public telephone inquiries on complaints
Classify and assign recent complaints per guidelines
Determine issues of qualified conduct and competency
Gather necessary substantiation from relevant parties
Advise staff for effective resolution strategies Requirements:
Eligibility or membership in the Law Society of B.C.
Five years of recent legal practice is required
Strong interpersonal and writing abilities
Trauma-Informed and mediation training preferred
