Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development approval process in accordance with local regulations
Mentor and supervise the planning team effectively




Engage with community stakeholders and builders for land use negotiations
Evaluate and enhance departmental programs and strategies
Oversee public consultation and enforce planning measures

Requirements:
Degree in Regional or Urban Planning required
At least five years of experience in municipal settings
Two years in a supervisory capacity
Robust knowledge of municipal zoning and planning acts
Certification as a Planner with the Canadian Institute of Planners
