Responsibilities:
Provide primary care to patients across the lifespan, including infants, children, adults, and seniors
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record system (Epic)
Perform minor procedures, such as phlebotomy and wound care

Qualifications:
Valid degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Pediatrics, Adult-Gerontology)




Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
Robust knowledge of primary care principles and practices
Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, specifically Accuro
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Skills:
Experience in Family Medicine practice treating medical conditions like Diabetes, HTN, dyslipidemia, back pain, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, pediatrics and seniors.
Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
Robust clinical assessment skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
