Position Overview:
We are looking for a Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of various communications networks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of broadband services.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems in ISP and OSP environments.
-Building and Splice in FOSCs maintaining high standards in green and brownfield environments. -Utilization of an OTDR and OLTS for testing & commissioning.
-Provide support to senior technicians and work as part of a team
Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and current installations.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
Qualifications: -Experience Splicing and Commissioning Fiber links
High school diploma or equivalent;
Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.
-Ability to work at heights -Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
