In this full time, permanent role, you will oversee procurement governance, coordinate material planning, and enhance supplier relationships. Collaborating closely with Engineering and PMO teams, your leadership will align procurement workflows with production timelines and project demands, involving high-value negotiations and strategic sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop sourcing strategies in alignment with project needs • Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and materials • Implement procurement tracking through MRP systems • Establish long-term supplier partnerships and agreements • Analyze BOMs for critical path and long-lead items
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field • 8+ years in procurement or supply chain management • Proven experience in rail or heavy manufacturing settings • Solid financial literacy and contract negotiating skills • Bilingualism (English/French) is advantageous.
