Duties
Perform maintenance and repairs on various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repair
Disassemble and reassemble equipment components as needed
Operate heavy equipment for testing and diagnostic purposes
Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications
Red Seal certification in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
Proven experience as a mechanic with heavy equipment repair
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment a plus
Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
