We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to work full time at our Ottawa office or remotely within Canada. This role requires hands-on experience in React and TypeScript, as you will build complex applications and design user flows that enhance military planning and analysis. You will take ownership of features from conception to delivery, mentoring junior developers and influencing technical direction along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather requirements from experts and design user flows • Develop interactive web applications with React and TypeScript • Manage frontend state and implement design systems • Conduct usability studies and iterate on designs • Write comprehensive tests and participate in code reviews
Requirements: • University degree in Computer Science or similar • At least 2 years of frontend development experience • Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and up-to-date state management • Experience with REST APIs and testing frameworks • Effective communication with technical and non-technical teams
