Support families in need at Waterloo Regional Health Network as a full time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist based in Kitchener-Waterloo. This role combines inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for youth.

You will be part of a vibrant division with a focus on cooperative, family-centered care. Engage with an experienced team of six child psychiatrists and countless prospects for teaching medical students and residents. You will manage urgent referrals and facilitate comprehensive psychiatric care with the support of a robust allied health staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Conduct medication management and therapeutic interventions
Collaborate across a multidisciplinary healthcare team




Offer urgent evaluations for emergency referrals
Participate in training and supervision for residents and students

Requirements:
Must be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
Certified by the Royal College of Physicians in Psychiatry
Interest from final-year residents is encouraged
Team-based work experience preferred
Proficiency in medication management and therapeutic methods
