Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) –

Location: Toronto, ON, Halifax, NS or Montreal – Hybrid (4 Days/Month Onsite)

Overview:

Seeking a Senior Backend Developer (7+ years) with solid Node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs, and MongoDB experience to support the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform. The role focuses on building scalable backend services, modernizing legacy systems, and automating client onboarding, KYC/AML, and regulatory processes within Capital Markets.

Key Skills:
7+ years of backend development experience
Robust Node.js and JavaScript
REST API development, OAuth authentication
MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, performance tuning)
Microservices and cloud-native architecture
CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps collaboration
Capital Markets domain with Client Lifecycle Management (KYC/AML)
Document Management / LLMParse experience is a robust plus
Exposure to Java and WebAssembly (Wasm) is preferred
