Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join the Canadian Tire team. The Receiver will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and ensuring accurate receipt of goods.

Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies
Unload trucks and verify received quantities against shipping documents
Sort, count, package, label, and store materials or items
Maintain accurate records of received goods in the warehouse management system
Operate forklifts or other machinery to move materials within the warehouse
Assist in inventory control activities including cycle counts and physical inventories

Experience:
Prior experience in a warehouse distribution setting preferred




Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
Proficiency in shipping and receiving procedures
Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
Knowledge of order picking processes and procedures
