In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Team Leader, Community Acute Stabilization Team or designate, the Clinician is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating client care activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with Best Practices and the Northern Health mission statement. The role is defined by the needs of the service, client/family, population, program expectations and the goals for professional nursing practice.



Functions as a primary therapist for an individual client caseload as well therapist or co-therapist in group programs.

Provide comprehensive Mental Health and Addiction assessment, crises intervention and follow-up services as required. Also provides an education/consultation role in response to the needs of health care providers, family physicians, community agencies, families & clients, and other team members on mental health issues.

Resume and cover letter outlining Addictions & Counselling Experience. Must have a Master Degree in SW or Counselling.
