POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Located in a prime location, the Lumia private retirement residence offers an exceptional quality of life. This unique place combines the vibrancy of city life with the friendly atmosphere and convenience of a neighborhood. Permanent part-time position, evening shift (4:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.)
Must speak ENGLISH and FRENCH
Salary: $19/hour
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards
Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure valuable teamwork
Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
Greet clients and orient current residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
Perform other related duties
Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
Good team player
Good communication
Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset
